The notorious Silent Night, Deadly Night franchise is officially crawling back down the chimney. After 13 years of silence, the holiday slasher returns to theaters with a brand-new reimagining from Bloody Disgusting and Cineverse—and tickets are officially on sale.
You can snag your seats through the film’s official site, Fandango, or any ticketing platform of your choice, because Billy is coming early this year.
Silent Night, Deadly Night slices into theaters on December 12, 2025.
This new take is directed by Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn, Sweet Revenge) and stars Rohan Campbell (Halloween Ends) as Billy, with Ruby Modine (Happy Death Day) as Pamela. The film resurrects the infamous 1984 holiday nightmare with a darker, bloodier edge.
The reimagined story centers on Billy, who witnesses his parents’ brutal murder on Christmas Eve and grows into a man who unleashes an annual holiday killing spree. But this year, everything changes when a young woman forces him to face the monster he’s become—and the trauma that created him.
The Silent Night, Deadly Night legacy started in 1984, sparking nationwide outrage thanks to its killer-in-a-Santa-suit premise. The backlash only cemented its cult status, spawning bizarre sequels in ’87, ’89, ’90, and ’91, plus a loose 2012 remake.
We’ll be diving into the entire franchise here on Gore Culture as the release approaches.
For now, sharpen your candy canes and grab your tickets before they disappear.
