The final trailer for The Carpenter’s Son has arrived, and it’s drenched in dread. Grim, apocalyptic visions and unsettling biblical imagery set the tone for one of the most talked-about horror films of the year.
Opening in theaters nationwide on November 14 via Magnolia Pictures, the genre-bending supernatural thriller is now available for advance ticket purchase.
Nicolas Cage stars as Joseph, with Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place) as a young Jesus and FKA twigs (The Crow) as Mary.
Inspired by the apocryphal Infancy Gospel of Thomas, the film reimagines the holy family’s time in Roman Egypt through a chilling, supernatural lens.
Official Synopsis:
A secluded village in Roman-era Egypt becomes the battleground for a spiritual war when a carpenter, his wife, and their son are hunted by dark, otherworldly forces.
Joseph (Cage), Mary (FKA twigs), and Jesus (Jupe) have lived in hiding for years, clinging to faith and family. But when a mysterious girl (Isla Johnston) tempts Jesus to defy his father’s teachings, a sinister power begins to take hold.
As chaos spreads, Joseph witnesses terrifying miracles and nightmarish visions that hint at a darker truth behind his son’s destiny — and the true identity of his unholy new companion: Satan.
The Carpenter’s Son is written and directed by Lotfy Nathan, blending biblical mythology with psychological horror to deliver a haunting look at faith, corruption, and the darkness within.
