Amy Acker Stars in Twisted Christmas Survival Horror ‘Invader’
Director Mike Caron (Henry Danger, Danger Force) is decking the halls with terror in Invader, a new Christmas-themed survival horror movie starring Amy Acker (The Cabin in the Woods).
The film follows Diane, whose peaceful Christmas family gathering turns into a nightmare of survival when her vengeful ex-husband, recently released after 20 years behind bars, returns with one goal — to destroy everything she loves.
The cast also includes Todd Stashwick (The Air I Breathe), horror legend Doug Jones (Pan’s Labyrinth, Hocus Pocus), and Kareem Grimes (Jarhead). The screenplay was penned by Tommy Walker.
AMP’s Head of Sales and Distribution Anthony Buckner describes the film as “a home invasion tale with a festive twist — one that’s bound to connect with horror fans this holiday season.”
Director Mike Caron adds, “Invader is a holiday pressure cooker of fear, family, and revenge — every frame builds to the realization that no one is safe.”
With its mix of holiday cheer and home-invasion terror, Invader is shaping up to be this year’s must-watch Christmas nightmare.
