John Wick legend Keanu Reeves is diving back into action — and terror — with Deadpool director Tim Miller for the upcoming sci-fi horror thriller Shiver. According to THR, Warner Bros. is in final talks to acquire the project.

Written by Splinter scribe Ian Shorr, Shiver is described as a high-octane blend of Edge of Tomorrow and The Shallows — a mix of time loops, oceanic dread, and brutal survival.

The story follows a down-on-his-luck smuggler trapped in a deadly double-cross during a Caribbean job gone wrong. Surrounded by corpses, mercenaries, and bloodthirsty sharks, he’s soon caught in a nightmarish time loop — forced to relive his own death again and again until he can escape the cycle.

Tim Miller, known for bringing stylish chaos to Deadpool and Terminator: Dark Fate, will bring his signature kinetic energy to this ocean-soaked nightmare. Meanwhile, Reeves, fresh off the John Wick spinoff Ballerina, is set to lead what could be one of his most intense roles yet.

The film is being produced by Aaron Ryder and Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, Kingsman), promising a sleek, high-concept thriller that fuses sci-fi, horror, and adrenaline in true Gore Culture fashion.
