“Jason Universe” Teams Up with Angry Orchard For Exclusive Hard Cider

Published

Jason Voorhees officially returns to the screen on August 13 with the premiere of Sweet Revenge, a short-form “vignette” from the Jason Universe team that kicks off a collaboration with the hard cider makers over at Angry Orchard. The vignette is sponsored by Angry Orchard, and the alcoholic beverage will be prominently featured in the slasher short starring Jason.

In addition to the short film, we’ve learned that Angry Orchard will be releasing a special Thriller Pack of hard cider that features spooky cans emblazoned with Jason’s image!

Releasing in August, the Thriller Pack from Jason Universe and Angry Orchard features 12 cans of hard cider in total, with four different flavors that each feature fun Halloween names.

The full lineup includes…

  • Berry Bewitched
  • Blood Orange
  • Headless Pumpkin
  • Cinnful Apple

It’s the Blood Orange can that’s particularly special for Friday the 13th fans, as the new Jason Voorhees mask dominates the can art. The mask is also featured prominently on the packaging for the Thriller Pack, which glows in the dark to make the mask pop even further.

In addition to the Thriller Pack, individual 16oz and 24oz cans of Angry Orchard’s Crisp Apple hard cider will be available, and those feature limited edition Jason Universe artwork.

Angry Orchard will also be releasing special Jason Universe merchandise this August, including drinking glasses, a hoodie, and a can koozie. Check out all the exclusive merch below.
