Eli Roth’s ‘Ice Cream Man’ Promises to Be His Most Terrifying and Unhinged Film Yet

Eli Roth is set to serve up a chilling new horror experience with Ice Cream Man, his latest directorial venture. The film is slated for a wide theatrical release in the second quarter of 2026, with international rights represented by WME Independent and U.S. rights held by Roth’s own production company, The Horror Section.
Co-financed by Media Capital Technologies (MCT) and The Horror Section, Ice Cream Man promises to be a boundary-pushing, unrated horror film. Roth envisions it as his most terrifying and insane film to date, aiming to deliver a theatrical experience that horror fans will remember for years.
The film is scheduled to begin production this summer in Canada. Roth’s The Horror Section, launched in May 2024, is an independent studio focused on creating theatrical horror movies without studio interference. The studio also offers horror fans the opportunity to invest and buy stock in their productions, fostering a community-driven approach to filmmaking.
With a fresh take on the horror genre and a commitment to delivering intense, original content, Ice Cream Man is poised to make a significant impact in the world of horror cinema.
