In the realm of horror, there’s a classic scene: a character keeps the light shining to fend off the lurking terrors of the dark. Lost Frame Development, known for the game StrangerZ, is harnessing this very trope in their upcoming Survival Horror venture, Hallways.

While the storyline is yet to fully emerge for Hallways, the gameplay offers a straightforward premise. Trapped within a convergence of four ominous hallways, players face an unseen adversary and must survive until 6 am. The key to survival? Manipulating light switches strategically placed in each corridor to deter the relentless pursuer. A flashlight aids in confirming the attacker’s direction, allowing for timely activation of the corresponding hallway’s lights.

But there’s a catch: activating lights depletes power reserves. Once drained, hope dwindles. Survival also hinges on managing the generator to recharge the flashlight.

Lost Frame Development emphasizes Hallways’ AI-driven unpredictability, promising diverse experiences with each playthrough. Additionally, Easter Eggs scattered throughout the game await eagle-eyed players.

Will Taubenheim, the sole developer at Lost Frame Development, expresses immense enthusiasm for the impending release: “This is my passion, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to see it come to life and share it with our devoted community. I’m an 18-year-old developer launching my fourth Steam game. I absolutely adore what I do!”

Hallways is set to haunt PCs via Steam in Q1 of 2024, promising an immersive and chilling survival experience for horror gaming enthusiasts.
