Capcom has finally answered the call of fans, revealing that “Resident Evil 4 VR” is headed to PlayStation VR2 this Winter. Even more exciting, after months of speculation, the “Separate Ways” DLC is set to drop next week on September 21.

The best part? The VR Mode will be a complimentary addition for PlayStation 5 owners, while “Separate Ways” will be available for $9.99.

“Separate Ways” offers a fresh perspective on the acclaimed remake, following the covert mission of Ada Wong as she crosses paths with Leon S. Kennedy during his quest to locate the president’s missing daughter. Coinciding with the release of “Separate Ways,” a free update for “The Mercenaries” will launch on the same day, featuring Ada Wong and Albert Wesker as playable characters in this bonus mode.

In “Separate Ways,” Ada Wong embarks on a mission to a secluded rural area of Europe, infiltrating a village controlled by the religious cult known as Los Iluminados. Under the orders of Albert Wesker, Ada’s objective is to acquire the cult’s enigmatic and sinister substance known as “the Amber.” Her operation intersects with Leon S. Kennedy’s search for the president’s missing daughter, offering an alternative viewpoint on the main storyline and unveiling events that transpire behind the scenes.

In addition to the beloved gunplay, combat mechanics, and knife skills of “Resident Evil 4,” “Separate Ways” introduces an exciting new element to the experience. Ada equips a Grappling Gun for this thrilling mission, allowing her to swing across gaps, ascend quickly, and descend into the depths below. She can also use the device in combat, engaging enemies in close-quarters combat and executing melee takedowns from a distance.

“Resident Evil 4” is already available on PC through Steam, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
