Filmmaker Shaun Meyer is gearing up for the release of Episode 2 of “Carrier: A Raccoon City Story” a year after the first episode premiered. Titled “Right Place, Wrong Time,” this new episode is set to stream on September 29th at 5pm EST/10pm GMT on Biohazard Declassified, followed by a YouTube release at 6pm EST on the same date.

Episode 2 continues the story from the first episode, following Detective Sam Othic and introducing new characters dealing with the aftermath of a deadly explosion at an Umbrella-owned research facility in downtown Raccoon City. The circumstances behind the explosion remain shrouded in mystery, and Sam is determined to uncover the truth.

The new episode also brings in more characters, with original Resident Evil cutscene actor Charlie Kraslavsky taking on the role of Raccoon City Mayor Michael Warren. Additionally, Pablo Kuntz, the original voice actor for Albert Wesker in the 1996 game, returns to voice the character in Episode 2, shedding light on Wesker’s activities before his arrival in Raccoon City.

Described as “a detective story presented through comic book cutscenes inspired by Max Payne,” “CARRIER: A Raccoon City Story” is a fan-made prequel web series to the first Resident Evil game. The series features Noah Goldberg, Pablo Kolache, and Trent Hall in its cast and follows Raccoon City Police Detective Sam Othic as he investigates a series of deadly incidents in the midst of escalating criminal activity during the winter of 1995. The series leads up to the events of the first Resident Evil game and the eventual destruction of Raccoon City in 1998.
