The new live-action TV series based on R.L. Stine’s iconic horror book series, Goosebumps, is coming to Disney+ on Friday, October 13th. The series will premiere with the first five episodes, and the remaining episodes will be released weekly. The first two episodes will also air on Freeform on the same day.

The series stars Justin Long, Rachael Harris, Ana Yi Puig, Miles McKenna, Will Price, Zack Morris, and Isa Briones. It follows a group of high school friends who accidentally unearth a sinister secret hiding in their town. Three decades after a teenage boy named Harold Biddle passed away, the friends threw a Halloween party in his old house, prompting a new haunted reality to come to life. As the kids work together to save their town, they find out some chilling discoveries about their own families.

The series is directed by Rob Letterman, who also directed the 2015 Goosebumps movie. He is also on board to write and executive produce the series. Nick Stoller will also write and executive produce.

The Goosebumps book series has sold over 400 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 32 languages. The first two Goosebumps movies, which were released in 2015 and 2018, respectively, were both box office successes.

The new Goosebumps TV series is sure to be a hit with fans of the books and movies. It promises to be a spooky and suspenseful ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
