The original “Walking Dead” spinoff, “Fear the Walking Dead,” is set to conclude this year with the second half of Season 8, scheduled to premiere on AMC on Sunday, October 22.

AMC Networks has unveiled the trailer and key art for the final six episodes of “Fear the Walking Dead,” starting on Sunday, October 22 at 9 pm ET/8c on AMC and AMC+. The series will conclude on Sunday, November 19 with two consecutive episodes. You can watch the trailer above.

In Season 8 of “Fear the Walking Dead,” Morgan, Madison, and the others who were brought to the island find themselves living under PADRE’s oppressive rule. With the characters disheartened and demoralized, the responsibility of reigniting hope for a better world falls on the shoulders of the person Morgan and Madison initially set out to rescue – Morgan’s daughter, Mo.

With Shrike (Maya Eshet) and her influence no longer a threat, Madison (Kim Dickens) is determined to transform PADRE into the secure sanctuary the old Stadium was intended to be. However, in the process, the island becomes both a target and a beacon as word spreads about Madison and the abundance of resources available, attracting unwanted attention that places PADRE in jeopardy and raises questions about whether our heroes are even worthy of saving it.

The cast of “Fear the Walking Dead” also includes Lennie James, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Austin Amelio, Christine Evangelista, Karen David, Jenna Elfman, and Rubén Blades.

This “Walking Dead” spinoff series is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, with Showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg. The show is also produced by Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, Michael Satrazemis, David Alpert, and is produced by AMC Studios.
