Following the return of the Evil Dead franchise to theaters earlier this year with Evil Dead Rise, the beloved horror-comedy TV series “Ash vs. Evil Dead” is making its way to Hulu just in time for Halloween.

Starting on October 1, 2023, all three seasons of “Ash vs. Evil Dead” will be available for streaming on Hulu as part of the platform’s extensive lineup of horror content for the spooky season.

A total of thirty episodes of “Ash vs. Evil Dead” originally aired between 2015 and 2018, with the series premiere being directed by the iconic Sam Raimi himself. The show was a delightful treat for fans of the Evil Dead franchise, as it continued the story in the timeline of the original trilogy and brought back the beloved Bruce Campbell as the chainsaw-wielding and wisecracking antihero, Ash Williams. Additionally, the series introduced new characters who quickly became fan favorites.

In “Ash vs. Evil Dead,” we follow the adventures of Ash Williams as he returns to his hometown of Elk Grove, Michigan, reunites with his long-lost daughter, and joins forces with former nemesis Ruby (played by Lucy Lawless) and fellow demon fighters Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) for one last gore-soaked battle to save the world.

Despite its dedicated fanbase, the series was not renewed for a planned fourth season by Starz, as viewership numbers didn’t meet expectations. Season 4 would have taken Ash Williams into a post-apocalyptic setting for more blood-soaked mayhem.
