‘The Plantation’ Brings Social Horror to the Screen in First Trailer
What if the past wasn’t dead… but hungry?
The Plantation twists that nightmare into a socially charged horror-thriller in the vein of Get Out, where history isn’t just remembered—it’s weaponized.
Set to hit digital platforms December 19 via Quiver Distribution, the film follows an interracial couple on a backpacking trip into the remote Louisiana swamps. Their adventure quickly turns to terror when they stumble upon an old plantation, haunted by sinister forces determined to drag the horrors of the past into the present.
The cast includes Liz Lafontant (Killroy Was Here), Brandon Lessard, Devante Winfrey, Baylee Toney, Robert Clohessy (Oz), and Kristina Klebe (Halloween 2007).
Myles Wyatt Clohessy writes, directs, and produces, joined by producers Antony Ware, Ramsey Heitmann, Rob Simmons, and Mike Walsh.
Prepare for a haunting where the past isn’t just remembered—it kills.
