The iconic horror series, The Omen, makes a chilling return to cinemas with the release of 20th Century Studios’ movie, The First Omen. Total Film Magazine recently unveiled a new image from the film, featuring Nell Tiger Free, known for her role in “Servant.”

Rated “R” for its intense violent content, grisly/disturbing images, and brief graphic nudity, The First Omen is set to haunt theaters on April 5, 2024. The previously released official trailer sets the stage for what promises to be a terrifying cinematic experience.

In the movie, viewers will follow the journey of a young American woman sent to Rome to serve the church. However, she soon confronts a malevolent darkness that shakes her faith to its core and reveals a sinister conspiracy aimed at ushering in the birth of pure evil.

Joining Nell Tiger Free in the cast are Tawfeek Barhom, Sonia Braga, Ralph Ineson, and Bill Nighy, each adding depth to the harrowing narrative.

Directed by Arkasha Stevenson and based on characters created by David Seltzer, The First Omen boasts a gripping story by Ben Jacoby and a screenplay crafted by Tim Smith & Arkasha Stevenson, along with Keith Thomas.

Behind the scenes, producers David S. Goyer and Keith Levine, alongside executive producers Tim Smith, Whitney Brown, and Gracie Wheelan, ensure the film delivers spine-tingling suspense at every turn.

The original 1976 classic, featuring Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, and Harvey Stephens, captivated audiences with its tale of an American ambassador grappling with the terrifying belief that his young son is the Antichrist.
