‘Saw X’ Unveils Its Side-Splitting Parody of the Nicole Kidman AMC Ad

As we eagerly await the release of “Saw X” in theaters on September 29, Lionsgate has gifted fans with a side-splitting piece of marketing that is sure to tickle your funny bone.

In this 60-second social media video, Lionsgate playfully parodies the iconic AMC Theatres ad featuring Nicole Kidman. For the past two years, Kidman’s ad has been a fixture before movies at AMC locations, and now it’s received a hilarious “Saw” makeover.

Narrated by none other than Jigsaw himself, the video replaces Nicole Kidman with the franchise’s trusty puppet, Billy. In this comical reimagining, the puppet rides a bicycle into the theater, takes a seat, and revels in the glory of the “Saw” franchise’s gruesome torture scenes. The parody video boldly proclaims, “Traps… they make movies better,” and it’s hard to argue with that sentiment.

The marketing campaign for “Saw X” has been nothing short of impressive, and it just keeps getting better. Last week, it was revealed that the “Saw Blood Drive” will make its return this Halloween season, adding even more excitement for fans.

Lionsgate has teased that “Saw X” will capture everything fans love about the franchise while introducing new traps and mysteries to keep audiences guessing. This installment will bring Tobin Bell’s John Kramer back to the forefront, exploring the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s final games. Set between the events of “Saw I” and “Saw II,” the film follows a sick and desperate John as he embarks on a journey to Mexico for a risky medical procedure, only to discover a scam targeting the most vulnerable. With his signature visceral and ingenious traps, Jigsaw once again takes justice into his own hands, turning the tables on the con artists.

Fans will also be excited to learn that Shawnee Smith is reprising her role as Amanda Young in “Saw X.” The excitement continues to build as we approach the theatrical release of the latest installment in this iconic horror franchise.
