Since its debut on September 29, Saw X, a sequel to the original classic, has been captivating audiences in theaters, only recently slipping out of the Top 10 on the domestic box office charts.

In the United States alone, Saw X has amassed an impressive $52.7 million in box office revenue to date. On a global scale, the tenth installment has officially crossed the $100 million milestone this week, with a worldwide total of $100,653,457. This achievement marks the eighth film in the franchise to surpass the $100 million mark, with only Saw VI and Spiral falling short of this accomplishment.

With a modest production budget of just $13 million, Saw X has proven to be highly profitable for Lionsgate. Given its success, it seems inevitable that Jigsaw will make a return to the big screen in the near future.

Meanwhile, Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s continues to dominate the domestic box office, even with the film available for streaming on Peacock the same day it premiered in theaters.

Released on October 27, the video game adaptation has, to date, earned a domestic total of $116 million. On a global scale, Five Nights at Freddy’s has now grossed an impressive $220 million.

Produced on a budget of just $20 million, Five Nights at Freddy’s has become a lucrative venture for the studio, making a sequel highly likely at this point.

Stay tuned for more updates on the future of the Five Nights film franchise.
