After a year of dedicated production, Womp Stomp Films has successfully wrapped principal photography for “Never Hike Alone 2,” as reported by Bloody Disgusting. To mark this significant milestone, the team has released exciting new images, providing fans with an in-depth glimpse into the highly anticipated sequel to the 2017 hit fan film.

“Never Hike Alone 2” serves as a direct continuation of the narratives from “Never Hike Alone” (2017) and “Never Hike in the Snow” (2020). The story follows Tommy Jarvis (Thom Mathews), haunted by Crystal Lake’s dark legacy, as he seemingly gives up on his relentless search for the elusive Jason Voorhees (Vincente DiSanti).

However, destiny has other plans for Tommy when he receives an urgent call to assist injured hiker Kyle McLeod (Andrew Leighty). This fateful encounter once again brings him face-to-face with the haunting specter of Crystal Lake, leading to a blood-soaked conclusion to their deadly rivalry.

Caught in the midst of the escalating chaos are Dr. Diana Hill (Anna Campbell), who remains determined to uncover the truth behind her son’s disappearance, and the persistent Sheriff Rick Cologne (Vinny Guastaferro), who firmly believes that Tommy is responsible for all the horrors that have befallen the town.

For fans eager to support the film, there’s an official Indiegogo Crowdfunding Campaign available, offering the opportunity to have their names featured in the closing credits. However, the window to be a part of this unique acknowledgment will be closing soon, so interested supporters are encouraged to act promptly.

“Never Hike Alone 2” is scheduled for release in October 2023, promising to deliver another thrilling and chilling chapter to the iconic “Friday the 13th” saga.
