The beloved horror-comedy book series Goosebumps is coming back to the small screen in a new live-action series for Disney+. The series will premiere in October 2023 and will star Justin Long, Rachael Harris, Ana Yi Puig, Miles McKenna, Will Price, Zack Morris, and Isa Briones.

The series is set in a small town where a group of high school friends accidentally unearth a sinister secret. Three decades after a teenage boy named Harold Biddle passed away, the friends threw a Halloween party in his old house, prompting a new haunted reality to come to life. As the kids work together to save their town, they find out some chilling discoveries about their own families.

Rob Letterman, who directed the 2015 Goosebumps movie, will be directing the first episode of the Disney+ series. He’s also on board to write and executive produce. Nick Stoller will also write and executive produce the Goosebumps TV series.

The Goosebumps book series has sold over 400 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 32 languages. The series has also been adapted into two feature films, a television series, and a video game.

The new Goosebumps series is sure to be a hit with fans of the book series and horror-comedy fans alike. The series promises to be a spooky and suspenseful ride that will keep viewers entertained from beginning to end.
