Exclusive look at the teaser trailer for the upcoming horror thriller, ‘Last Straw.‘ This highly anticipated film is set to have its world premiere at Sitges before making its way to Beyond Fest next month.

‘Last Straw’ pays homage to the tension-filled genre films of the past, delivering a “raw and relentless twist on the home-invasion thriller that subverts expectations at every turn.”

The narrative of ‘Last Straw’ centers on a young waitress who finds herself working the late shift alone at a remote roadside diner. Her ordinary night takes a terrifying turn when she becomes the target of a group of masked assailants. As the night unfolds, she must summon every ounce of her strength to survive this harrowing ordeal.

Director Alan Scott Neal, making his feature directorial debut, describes the film as an exploration of the horrors that emerge when masks come off, while also delving into the root causes of some individuals’ descent into violence. He states, “When I first read Taylor Sardoni’s script, I was creatively drawn to exploring the abhorrent, violent behavior that comes with the cultural clashes embedded in American society – while also making an entertaining thrill ride that grabs you and doesn’t let go.”

‘Last Straw’ boasts a stellar cast, including Jessica Belkin (“American Horror Story”), Jeremy Sisto (“Thirteen,” “May,” “Wrong Turn”), and Taylor Kowalski (“Snowfall”). The film’s original score is composed by Alan Palomo of Neon Indian, and Andrey Nikolaev handles the cinematography.

Blue Finch Films will commence international sales of the movie during AFM 2023, further underscoring the anticipation surrounding ‘Last Straw.’

Don’t miss the chance to catch the first teaser trailer, offering glimpses of a night filled with terror for a young waitress, as ‘Last Straw’ promises to keep you on the edge of your seat.
