After nearly four decades since its iconic debut, Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” is making its long-awaited return, and Warner Bros. has just unveiled the official teaser trailer.

Take a peek at the teaser trailer for “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” below, offering just enough to tantalize without spoiling the excitement of a return to the Neitherworld.

But let’s cut to the chase… THE JUICE IS LOOSE!

Here’s a sneak peek at the official plot synopsis: “After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life takes a wild turn when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, stumbles upon a mysterious model of the town in the attic, unwittingly opening a portal to the Afterlife. With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone utters Beetlejuice’s name three times, unleashing the mischievous demon and his brand of mayhem.”

The upcoming sequel promises a nostalgic nod to the handcrafted charm of the 1980s, with Tim Burton embracing practical effects and classic stop motion wherever possible.

Michael Keaton shared with People, “Early on, Tim Burton and I agreed that if we ever revisited this world, it had to feel authentic and handmade, steering clear of excessive technology.”

“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” is set to haunt theaters on September 6, 2024, boasting a stellar cast including Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, and Monica Bellucci.

Jenna Ortega takes on the role of Astrid Deetz, the daughter of Winona Ryder’s Lydia Deetz, offering a fresh perspective on the beloved characters.

“I don’t want to give too much away, but I play Lydia Deetz’s daughter,” Ortega revealed to Vanity Fair. “She’s eccentric in her own way, and her relationship with Lydia is crucial. It’s also fascinating because it’s about catching up and piecing together Lydia’s life since, which I think fans will appreciate.”

Catherine O’Hara and Justin Theroux are also set to star, with Danny Elfman returning to compose the film’s score, adding his signature touch to the eerie atmosphere.

Directed by Tim Burton and penned by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar, based on characters created by Michael McDowell & Larry Wilson, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” promises to reignite the magic of the original cult classic that captured audiences’ hearts in 1988.
