A follow-up to the successful horror film “Talk to Me” is on the horizon, but before that, A24 has greenlit another spine-chilling project from the minds behind the original hit, directors Danny and Michael Philippou.

According to Deadline, the Philippou brothers are set to helm a new horror flick titled “Bring Her Back” for A24, with acclaimed actress Sally Hawkins (“The Shape of Water”) secured for a leading role.

Deadline’s report remains tight-lipped about the plot, describing the project as shrouded in secrecy. It’s being produced by Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton from Causeway Films, the team behind acclaimed horror titles like “The Babadook” and “The Nightingale.”

Filming for “Bring Her Back” is slated to commence this upcoming summer.

“Talk to Me” proved to be a massive success for A24 last year, raking in $92 million worldwide and earning the Philippou brothers widespread acclaim for their directorial debut.

In addition to their new project, Danny and Michael Philippou are set to return to direct “Talk to Me 2” for A24. The Australian duo initially rose to prominence with their popular YouTube channel RackaRacka, launched in 2013.
