SRS Cinema Presents ‘Cocaine Crabs from Outer Space‘ – Pre-Sales for Blu-ray Begin, Digital and DVD Release Coming Soon.
Following the success of this year’s “Cocaine Bear,” a whole new wave of “mockbuster” movies has emerged, with the recent announcement of “Cocaine Shark.” Adding to the mix, SRS Cinema has revealed that “Cocaine Crabs from Outer Space” is coming soon.
Pre-sales for the Blu-ray version of the film will begin on Thursday, June 1, while the Digital and DVD release is slated for the summer or early fall of 2023.
The official trailer for “Cocaine Crabs from Outer Space” can be watched up here!
In this film, two intergalactic space crabs land on Earth, only to encounter an unexpected phenomenon—two dimwitted frat boys who start force-feeding them cocaine! Surprisingly, the stimulant drug triggers an overwhelming impulse in the space crabs to kill. As a series of peculiar murders ensue, Detective Charlie Reese becomes suspicious, sensing that something fishy, quite literally, is going on.
However, when Detective Reese shares his theory with his Captain, he is quickly dismissed. Determined to prove his case, he seeks the assistance of a sea life expert, but the best local help he can find is a pet store employee named Alex Bailey.
Convinced that the detective might be onto something, the unlikely duo teams up as they face the deadly rampage caused by the cocaine-fueled crabs.
Presented by Wounded Rat Productions and directed by Chuck Magee, the film features an ensemble cast including Chuck Magee, Kat Andrews, Brent G. Baker, Douglass Hoffman, and Bo Bolin.
