A seemingly normal suburban family takes extreme measures to “fix” a violent young criminal in the newly released trailer for Heel.

The twisted psychological thriller arrives in select theaters and on demand March 6 via Magnolia Pictures.

The film stars Stephen Graham (Snatch), Andrea Riseborough (Mandy), Anson Boon (Crawl), and Kit Rakusen (Foundation).

Nineteen-year-old Tommy (Boon) thrives on drugs, parties, and unchecked violence. After getting separated from his equally reckless friends during a night of excess, Tommy is abducted by a mysterious assailant. He soon wakes up chained in the basement of an isolated suburban home belonging to Chris (Graham), his wife Kathryn (Riseborough), and their young son Jonathan (Rakusen).

While Tommy is no stranger to brutality, the family’s calculated cruelty proves far more unsettling. Determined to reform his behavior, they subject him to a series of psychological games, forcing him to either comply with their warped sense of justice or attempt a desperate escape.

Heel is directed by Jan Komasa (Corpus Christi) from a script by Bartek Bartosik and Naqqash Khalid, with Jeremy Thomas, Ewa Piaskowska, and Jerzy Skolimowski producing.

The film originally premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last September under its former title, Good Boy.
