Snoop Dogg is trading the Dogg House for a literal haunted house.

Eli Roth and the hip-hop legend are bringing their faux trailer Don’t Go in That House, Bitch! to life as a full-blown feature film. While Snoop was already on board as a producer, Roth confirmed to Variety that he’ll also star in the horror-comedy.

“He’s been wanting to do Death Row Films for a long time,” Roth said. “I said we need to make the ultimate haunted house movie — the craziest one. Something that mixes House, House by the Cemetery, Hausu, and Friday the 13th, something so insane people can’t believe it exists. And we have to call it Don’t Go in That House, Bitch! … And he’s going to star in it.”

Roth described the concept as a meta nightmare: “People keep going in the house. People don’t listen. What are you doing, bitch? Don’t go in that house! People just keep going in. It’s basically everything we yell at the screen during horror movies — but we put those reactions into the characters themselves, like a Greek chorus.”

The script was completed over the holidays, with shooting expected to begin in June under Roth’s Horror Section Studios. Roth is currently budgeting and hopes to shoot in Los Angeles to take advantage of California tax incentives and tap local talent.

Snoop Dogg is also contributing musically: he wrote a song Roth plans to use during the end credits and composed part of the score. “He sent me some score — not hip-hop, but actual score,” Roth said. “I was like, ‘Oh my god, this is incredible.’ So we have a whole section of the movie completely scored by Snoop.”

Roth and Snoop first teamed up in 2012 on the rapper’s “La La La” music video. Snoop’s previous genre roles include Day Shift, Bones, Hood of Horror, Meet the Blacks, and Scary Movie 5, making him no stranger to horror-comedy mayhem.

With Roth at the helm and Snoop in the house, Don’t Go in That House, Bitch! is shaping up to be a wild, over-the-top horror ride that only Eli Roth could imagine.
