Kick off the New Year with a dangerous mix of lust, blood, and betrayal as Bleecker Street’s romantic horror thriller Bone Lake slashes its way onto streaming.
Bone Lake begins streaming on Netflix January 15, 2026.
The film follows a couple seeking a quiet, romantic escape at a secluded lakeside mansion—until their dream getaway is invaded by another attractive, enigmatic duo. What starts as seductive tension quickly unravels into a darkly comedic, erotic nightmare filled with manipulation, secrets, and a brutal fight for survival.
The cast includes Marco Pigossi (Gen V), Maddie Hasson (Malignant), Alex Roe (Rings), Andra Nechita (Fatal Attraction), Eliane Reis, and Clayton Spencer. Cinematography comes from Nick Matthews (Saw X).
Directed by Mercedes Bryce Morgan (Spoonful of Sugar) from a script by Joshua Friedlander (Holly Slept Over), the film is produced by Jason Blumenfeld, Joshua Friedlander, Mickey Liddell, Pete Shilaimon, and Jacob Yakob.
After premiering theatrically in October 2025, the film made waves at Fantastic Fest, where Trace Thurman praised its “blood-soaked finale that is truly one for the books,” calling out the escalating violence and unforgettable final shot.
It’s no surprise Bone Lake carries a hard R rating for strong bloody violence, grisly imagery, graphic nudity, sexual content, pervasive language, and drug use.
Produced by LD Entertainment (The Grey, The Collector), with Nick Matthews once again serving as director of photography, Bone Lake is primed to lure Netflix viewers into its seductive, savage trap.
