According to Deadline, author and screenwriter Gillian Flynn is teaming with filmmaker Darren Aronofsky on a brand-new original erotic thriller now haunting the halls of development at Sony Pictures.

For now, the project is locked in a coffin of secrecy. No plot, no title—just the promise of something seductive, unsettling, and potentially vicious.

Flynn is crafting the screenplay, while Aronofsky has inked a deal to produce through his Protozoa Pictures banner. Though not yet confirmed, he’s widely expected to step behind the camera as well—meaning whatever emerges from this collaboration is likely to carry his signature brand of psychological torment.
