Chloë Sevigny and FKA twigs Lead Boy Harsher’s Haunting Erotic Thriller ‘The Lonely Woman’
Electronic duo Boy Harsher are stepping behind the camera for their first feature film, and they’re bringing some serious genre power with them. FKA twigs (The Crow) and Chloë Sevigny (Lizzie) will headline the haunting new project, The Lonely Woman.
Described as “a bleak, sensual and atmospheric horror-thriller,” The Lonely Woman is set in rural New England and centers on a woman haunted by the death of her first love inside a mountain tunnel. When another mysterious disappearance shakes the town, she’s pulled into a deeper nightmare—one ruled by a seductive, predatory presence lurking beneath the surface.
The cast also includes Sturgill Simpson, Will Oldham, Jake Weary, and Spenser Granese.
Written and directed by Boy Harsher’s Augustus Muller and Jae Matthews, the film will also feature an original electronic synth score from the duo, promising a soundscape as dark and intoxicating as the story itself.
More updates on The Lonely Woman as they come.
