Move over Lady Gaga—Catherine Zeta-Jones has the ultimate idea for taking Wednesday Season 2 to the next level: Danny DeVito as Cousin Itt.

“I don’t know how Danny DeVito hasn’t been cast already,” Zeta-Jones told Variety. “Imagine Danny DeVito as Cousin Itt? That’d be so cool!”

She added with a laugh, “He’s gonna kill me for that. He’s like, ‘Yeah, they’re going to cast me and put hair all over my face. Thanks for suggesting that, Catherine.’”

DeVito is no stranger to the world of Wednesday—he’s a frequent collaborator of executive producer Tim Burton, having worked together on classics like Batman Returns, Mars Attacks, Big Fish, Dumbo, and Beetlejuice. He’s also a longtime friend of Zeta-Jones’ husband, Michael Douglas.

Now streaming on Netflix, Wednesday Season 2 follows Wednesday Addams as she navigates family, friends, and foes, all while being plunged into another twisted supernatural mystery.

The series stars Jenna Ortega alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Emma Myers, Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Gwendoline Christie, and a host of other talented actors.

A third season is already in the works from showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville, Beetlejuice), promising even more kooky chaos and dark mischief.
