Deadline reports that IndustryWorks Studios is launching sales for the film at the American Film Market.

Currey plays Morgan, a mother clinging to hope as her fractured family begins to unravel after her young son mysteriously disappears.

When Morgan brings home a vintage 1940s refrigerator, she discovers something horrifying hidden inside—an icy menace that slowly traps them within their own home, and may hold the terrifying truth behind her son’s disappearance.

The film marks the feature debut of writer-director Trevor Mirosh, expanding on his 2017 short of the same name.

The cast also includes Milo Gibson (Hacksaw Ridge), James C. Clayton (Bullet Proof), and Natasha Henstridge (Species). Executive producers are Evan Tylor and Caterina Scrivano of IndustryWorks, along with Keli Price of Price Productions.

Filmed in Canada, The Freeze is currently in post-production, promising a chilling addition to the horror landscape.
