New ‘Good Boy’ Poster Spells Trouble for Its Canine Star
This Halloween season, director Ben Leonberg dares to put man’s best friend in the crosshairs of supernatural terror. His debut feature Good Boy follows a loyal pup trapped inside a haunted house — and the brand-new poster teases danger for its canine hero.
So, does the dog make it out alive? Horror fans will have to wait until October to find out.
The Story
Opening nationwide on October 3 from Independent Film Company, Good Boy tells the chilling tale of a devoted dog who moves with his owner, Todd, to a secluded family home. But the shadows are alive with dark forces. As sinister entities target Todd, the brave pup steps up to protect the human he loves most — no matter the cost.
Cast & Crew
Leonberg co-wrote the script with Alex Cannon, bringing his own real-life dog Indy into the spotlight as the film’s unlikely hero. The cast also features indie horror favorite Larry Fessenden, along with Shane Jensen and Arielle Friedman.
Good Boy promises a unique spin on haunted house horror — where survival isn’t just about the humans.
