Persona-like Tactics RPG Video Game “Demonschool” Delays Release Date to November 19

Developer Necrosoft Games and publisher Ysbryd Games have made the tough decision to delay the release of their upcoming Persona-like tactics RPG Demonschool. Originally set for a September 3 release, the game will now launch on November 19.

“With 11 years under our belt as an indie publisher, we at Ysbryd Games are reasonably qualified to say that any point of 2025, on balance, has been or will be as brutal as market conditions can get when it comes to releasing a game,” reads the press release. “Crueler still, that we should find out with such short notice that Hollow Knight: Silksong will launch just one day after our planned release for Demonschool.”

The statement goes on to say that the Ysbryd team “strongly believes” that releasing Demonschool on its original date would not be doing the game any favors. “If the September period is going to be Silksong‘s moment, then we need to be elsewhere on the calendar to give Demonschool its own moment to be seen and talked about meaningfully.”

The team stresses that there will be no more delays for Demonschool after this revised release date, and will take advantage of the new date by enhancing and polishing up the game experience with more endings and minigames that were originally planned to be added in post-launch.

Demonschool will launch for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
