New ‘The Strangers: Chapter 2’ Poster Drops for Independence Day
In case you missed it over the Fourth of July weekend, Lionsgate dropped a chilling new poster for The Strangers: Chapter 2—and it’s a fittingly eerie way to celebrate Independence Day.
The sequel arrives in theaters on September 26, continuing the terrifying story that began with The Strangers: Chapter 1 just over a year ago. This entry is the second chapter in a planned trilogy, all directed by horror veteran Renny Harlin (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4, Deep Blue Sea).
Official Synopsis:
The Strangers are back—more brutal and relentless than ever. When they discover one of their victims, Maya (Madelaine Petsch), has survived, they return to finish the job. With nowhere to run and no one to trust, Maya must endure another nightmarish encounter, as The Strangers stop at nothing—and no one—to complete their mission.
Alongside Petsch, the cast includes Gabriel Basso and Ema Horvath. The screenplay was penned by Alan R. Cohen & Alan Freedland, with production credits going to Courtney Solomon, Mark Canton, Christopher Milburn, Gary Raskin, Alastair Burlingham, and Charlie Dombek.
