Survival Gets Deadly in ‘Trust’ — Sophie Turner Thriller Premieres This August
Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) makes a gripping return to the big screen this summer in Trust, a psychological survival thriller slated for a limited theatrical release on August 22, 2025.
Directed by Carlson Young (Upgraded) and written by Gigi Levangie, Trust is being released by Republic Pictures, with a first-look poster and intense trailer now available for viewing.
In the film, Turner plays a Hollywood star seeking refuge in a secluded mountain cabin—only to discover she’s not alone. After a devastating betrayal by the person she trusted most, her retreat turns into a chilling fight for survival.
The supporting cast includes Rhys Coiro, Billy Campbell, Peter Mensah, Forrest Goodluck, Gianni Paolo, Renata Vaca, and screen legend Katey Sagal.
Behind the scenes, Dan Heffner and Ketura Kestin of Twisted Pictures serve as executive producers, alongside Lena Roklin of Luber Roklin Entertainment. Ethan Harari joins as co-producer.
Trust has officially received an R rating for “violence, language, some sexuality, and drug content.”
