Norwegian filmmaker Magnus Martens is set to direct Hell Ride, a new horror film featuring Kelsey Grammer. The movie follows a group of high school seniors who break into an abandoned theme park for a night of partying, only to find themselves trapped in a nightmare. Grammer’s involvement adds a notable star to the project. The film is scheduled to begin production this summer in Canada.

Martens is known for his work on There’s Something in the Barn and has directed episodes of popular genre TV shows including Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: The World Beyond, Luke Cage, and Agents of SHIELD.

Hell Ride is set to be launched at the Cannes Film Festival this month.
