A24’s latest offering, Love Lies Bleeding, directed by Rose Glass of Saint Maud fame, is set to hit theaters next month after receiving glowing reviews at the Sundance Film Festival 2024.

Scheduled for release on March 8, the film has just dropped an intense new trailer. Starring Katy O’Brian alongside Kristen Stewart, Love Lies Bleeding is described as “a romance fueled by ego, desire, and the American Dream.”

The story revolves around Lou, a reclusive gym manager who falls passionately in love with Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder en route to Las Vegas to chase her dreams. However, their love story takes a dark turn as it becomes entangled with the violent world of Lou’s criminal family.

In addition to Stewart and O’Brian, the film features an ensemble cast including Dave Franco, Ed Harris, Anna Baryshnikov, and Jena Malone.

Rose Glass, known for her acclaimed work on Saint Maud, directs Love Lies Bleeding from a script she co-wrote with Weronika Tofilska. A24, alongside Lobo Films and Escape Plan Productions, is producing the film, with global distribution handled by A24.
