Francesco Monti, best known for his psychological horror ‘Project Paranoia’, returns with his latest project, Blood—a chilling exploration of fractured friendships, creative obsession, and the descent into violence. The film is currently in development and already generating buzz for its unsettling premise.

‘Blood’ centers on two close friends attempting to make a low-budget slasher film. What starts as a passion project quickly takes a dark turn as tensions rise on set. The creative process begins to unravel their bond, and what was once a fun collaboration spirals into a terrifying descent into madness—and ultimately, murder.

The film promises to blur the lines between fiction and reality, exploring how ambition, jealousy, and emotional strain can transform a shared dream into a waking nightmare.

‘Blood’ is directed by Francesco Monti, who also serves as producer, executive producer, and writer. The film is being produced through Gore Culture, known for its bold and gritty approach to indie horror.

Director and Writer Spyder Dobrofsky (‘Teardrop’, ‘Down Below’, and ‘The Weeping’) also joins the team as Executive Producer. Dobrofsky’s track record of producing compelling, atmospheric horror aligns perfectly with Monti’s vision, making his collaboration on ‘Blood’ a highly anticipated partnership in the indie horror scene.

Other executive producers include Jason Renaldy and Torin Penwell, rounding out a powerhouse creative team.

Blood features a diverse ensemble cast, including:

Van McInish (Avengers: Infinity War), Marty Glynn (Shelby Oaks), Chris Driver (Airplane Mode), Molly Dakota (Survival of the Apocalypse), Holly Dominique (Mirage), Stephanie Knirk (Sanctus House), Nicolas Teixeira (The Wedding Game, For My Man), Kevin Hagler, Jason Barnes and David K. Moore.

Stay tuned for trailers, release updates, and behind-the-scenes insights as Blood moves closer to completion!
