Shudder’s “Slasher” is a unique series for horror fans. Each season is a new story, and it is Friday the 13th meets Scream meets American Horror Story. The latest season of Slasher, aptly subtitled Ripper, is taking us all back in time. In a story delivering a major twist on the tale of Jack the Ripper himself, set in the Victorian Era, Slasher: Ripper, will be unleashing a maniacal killer who is called “The Widow.” “The Widow” is a nameless, faceless woman cloaked in a black, shadowy veil focusing their rampage on the wealthy and powerful in society.

Seasons 1, 2, and 3 of Slasher are on Netflix, while seasons 4 and 5 are available to stream on Shudder.  Ripper, which is the fifth season of Slasher released on Shudder beginning April 6, 2023, with a new episode airing every Thursday. As of June 26, 2023, all of the episodes are now available to stream via Shudder.
