Netflix is giving fans the ultimate Christmas thrill with “Stranger Things 5: Volume 2”, dropping three new episodes on Christmas Day and leading straight into the series finale on New Year’s Eve.

Co-creator Ross Duffer took to Instagram to reveal the official runtimes for the remaining episodes, including the long-awaited finale:

  • Chapter 5: Shock Jock – 1h 8m
  • Chapter 6: Escape from Camazotz – 1h 15m
  • Chapter 7: The Bridge – 1h 6m
  • Chapter 8: The Rightside Up – 2h 8m

That adds up to 337 minutes of suspense, terror, and emotional gut punches — just over 5 ½ hours of new content before the hit Netflix series concludes its fifth and final season.

So, what can fans expect from these last chapters? Ross Duffer shared a glimpse of the tone and terror awaiting viewers:

  • Shock Jock kicks off moments after the events of Sorcerer, directed by Frank Darabont. Duffer warns it’s darker and scarier than previous episodes.
  • Escape from Camazotz, directed by Shawn Levy, is the biggest of the batch — emotional performances that reportedly bring the crew to tears every time.
  • The Bridge, co-directed with Levy, is described as one of the most emotional chapters of the season, second only to the finale.

With the countdown to the finale on New Year’s Eve, fans can brace themselves for a mix of horror, heartbreak, and the supernatural chaos that only Hawkins can deliver.
