Following its successful debut, “Castlevania: Nocturne” will return for a second season on Netflix. The series quickly climbed the ranks, reaching Netflix’s Top 10 English TV List and making it into the Top 10 in 40 countries within its first five days of release.
Creators and showrunners Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming response from both new and existing Castlevania fans. They also shared their excitement about continuing the story of “Castlevania: Nocturne” and the rise of Richter Belmont in the next chapter.
Directing duties will again be handled by Sam Deats and Adam Deats, while Project 51 Productions and Powerhouse Animation will continue producing for Netflix.
“Castlevania: Nocturne” is set 300 years after the original “Castlevania” series and is based on the beloved Konami video game franchise. The series is a thrilling addition to the “Castlevania” universe, set during the French Revolution and featuring the struggle against a vampire alliance.
With the success of the first season, fans can look forward to more dark and action-packed adventures in “Castlevania: Nocturne” Season 2.
