The first episode of HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us is available to watch for free on YouTube. Unfortunately, if you live outside the U.K. you won’t be able to stream the content unless you use a VPN.

Craig Mazin (“Chernobyl”) developed the series for HBO.

In HBO’s “The Last of Us”

“Twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel (Pedro Pascal), a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie (Bella Ramsey, “Game of Thrones”), a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.”

The series also stars Gabriel Luna (Terminator: Dark Fate) as Tommy, the brother of Joel. Storm Reid, Anna Torv, Jeffrey Pierce, Nick Offerman, Merle Dandridge, Nico Parker, Murray Bartlett, and Con O’Neil will also star in the series, alongside video game voice actors Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson.
