New ‘Alien’ Movie is Set to Start Filming in Budapest in 2023

Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe director Fede Alvarez will write and direct a new Alien movie for Ridley Scott and 20th Century Studios.

The film is scheduled to start shooting very soon and has the working title Alien: Romulus. The shooting’s tentative date is set for February 6, 2023 in Budapest, Hungary. Ridley Scott , will produce the movie via his Scott Free banner.

Cailee Spaeny (The Craft: Legacy, Pacific Rim Uprising) is set to lead the cast.
