Imagine waking up to find your apartment sealed shut by a mysterious high-tech wall—with no way out and no clue why. That’s the chilling premise of Brick, the upcoming sci-fi mystery thriller hitting Netflix on July 10.

Echoing the claustrophobic tension of Cube and the eerie social allegory of The Platform, Brick follows Tim and Olivia, a couple who awaken to find their home—and the entire apartment complex—suddenly enclosed by an impenetrable wall that wasn’t there the night before.

They’re not alone. The other residents are trapped too, and as panic spreads, so do the questions: Who built the wall? Why are they being contained? And what will it take to escape?

With no hope of rescue from the outside, the tenants must work together to uncover the truth behind their confinement—before it’s too late.

Brick stars Matthias Schweighöfer and Ruby O. Fee, alongside Frederick Lau, Salber Lee Williams, Murathan Muslu, Axel Werner, Sira-Anna Faal, and Alexander Beyer. The German-language film is written and directed by Friend Request co-writer Philip Koch.
