‘Alpha’ Advance Screenings Set for NY & LA with Q&A
Writer-director Julia Ducournau (Raw, Titane) will appear at a series of advance screenings for her latest film Alpha in New York and Los Angeles, with live Q&A sessions scheduled throughout the week.
The screenings begin this weekend and will give fans the chance to catch the film early while hearing directly from the filmmaker behind some of modern horror’s most daring work.

If you can’t make it to one of the advance screenings, Alpha will arrive in theaters nationwide on March 27 via Neon.
The body horror drama centers on a troubled 13-year-old girl living with her single mother. Their fragile world begins to unravel when she returns home from school one day with a mysterious tattoo on her arm.
The film stars Tahar Rahim (Madame Web), Golshifteh Farahani (Extraction), and Mélissa Boros, alongside Emma Mackey (Death on the Nile), Finnegan Oldfield (Infested), and Louai El Amrousy.
Alpha premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, earning Ducournau her second Palme d’Or nomination. The director previously won the prestigious award in 2021 for Titane.
