“I never considered what would come after creation.” That haunting line opens the final trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s long-awaited adaptation of Frankenstein — and it perfectly sets the tone for what’s to come.

Now playing in select theaters ahead of its Netflix debut on November 7, Frankenstein looks every bit the gothic masterpiece fans hoped del Toro would deliver.

Oscar Isaac stars as the obsessive scientist Victor Frankenstein, with Jacob Elordi portraying his sorrowful creation. The cast also includes Mia Goth as Elizabeth Harlander, Christoph Waltz as Heinrich Harlander, and Felix Kammerer as William Frankenstein.

The story reimagines Mary Shelley’s timeless horror tale through del Toro’s signature lens — a world of beauty, decay, and tragedy. It follows Victor, a brilliant but self-absorbed scientist whose attempt to conquer death gives birth to a creature that ultimately becomes his greatest regret… and his mirror.

And for those who can’t get enough of the film’s macabre aesthetic, Netflix has dropped official Frankenstein merch, including a killer popcorn bucket shaped like a human skull — because, of course, del Toro wouldn’t have it any other wy.

Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein hits Netflix on November 7. Don’t miss your chance to experience it on the big screen while it’s still haunting select theaters.
