Kinetic Games is getting down to business with celebrating five years of their hit co-op title, Phasmophobia. From now until September 21st, Kinetic Games is celebrating Phasmophobiawith a bundle of announcements – from an in-game challenge and double XP, to exciting new merch drops and more.

2025 has already been a milestone year for Phasmophobia, with map reworks to Bleasdale and Grafton Farmhouse, to the hugely anticipated Chronicle update which arrived earlier this summer. Up next is the launch of Nell’s Diner later this year, where ghost hunters will be treated to a run-down retro diner serving up plenty of screams.

Since its early access launch in 2020, Phasmophobia has exceeded 25 million in global sales and cultivated a community of over 700,000 paranormal investigators. The title’s unique blend of immersive investigation and co-op gameplay continues to capture audiences, with 35.5m hours watched and 3.8m hours broadcasted on Twitch just within the last year. Not to mention, Kinetic Games has that feature film adaptation of Phasmophobia currently in development with Blumhouse.

There’s still more to come for the game, including the obligatory Halloween and Christmas events, as well as the big v1.0 launch next year, which will bring even more map reworks and more events to fans.

Phasmophobia is currently available in Early Access on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR2 and the Xbox Series.
