‘Dungeons of DUSK’: Turn-Based Dungeon Horror Inspired by DOOM RPG [Trailer]
New Blood Interactive is diving back into the bloody world of DUSK with Dungeons of DUSK, a turn-based dungeon crawler from 68k Studios. Hitting PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, Switch, PC via Steam and GOG, and even iOS and Android, the game is set to launch in 2026, with a Steam demo dropping next year.
Set canonically between episodes of the cult-favorite FPS, Dungeons of DUSK drops players into a 30-level dungeon campaign packed with brutal enemies, character progression, and NPCs ready to aid—or betray—you. Skills, passive bonuses, and dark secrets await those daring enough to explore every shadowed corridor.
The game isn’t shy about carnage, offering multiple modes for maximum mayhem: Endless Arena, Boss Rush, and a Survival Mode featuring permadeath and randomly generated dungeons that will test your strategy—and your nerves.
CEO Dave Oshry says the game draws heavy inspiration from the 2005 mobile gem DOOM RPG. “DOOM RPG was addictive as hell,” Oshry explains. “It turned the classic DOOM formula of shotguns and demons into a bite-sized RPG experience without bullshit. Dungeons of DUSK carries that same relentless spirit.”
Fans of the original will spot nods to their favorite nightmare weaponry, including a yellow-handled fire axe—a direct homage to DOOM RPG’s iconic weapon.
Dungeons of DUSK also comes packed with a level editor and Steam Workshop support, letting players craft their own nightmarish halls. The Steam demo will debut at Steam Next Fest in February, and the game will be fully Steam Deck Verified.
Prepare to descend… if you dare.
