“Yellowjackets” Sets Season 4 as Its Final Course
The cannibal cult saga is coming to a close.
Showtime has confirmed that the upcoming fourth season of “Yellowjackets” will be the series’ last — bringing the blood-soaked survival story to its long-awaited, twisted conclusion.
Series creators Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson broke the news in a statement posted across social media:
“After three incredible seasons, and great consideration, we’re excited to announce that we will be bringing the story of Yellowjackets to its twisted conclusion in this fourth and final season… We’ve always known there would come a point when the story would tell us it wants to end, and it’s our belief that our job — our responsibility — is to listen.”
“Most of all, we want to thank the fans who have stuck with us through every moment, mystery and meal — the Hive is nothing without you. We can’t wait to share the final chapter with you and hope you find it… delicious.”
Season 4 is expected to premiere sometime in 2026.
🩸 A SAVAGE LEGACY
Yellowjackets has been one of Showtime’s most unhinged hits — part psychological horror, part trauma-soaked mystery, all tied together with ritualistic gore, antler queens, and decades of buried secrets.
Season 3 (which premiered on Valentine’s Day, naturally) broke records for the streamer, with both its premiere and finale hitting historic viewership numbers — the finale alone pulled in 3 million global viewers in a single week.
🔥 FLASHBACKS, FLESH, AND FRACTURED MINDS
For the uninitiated: Yellowjackets follows a high school girls’ soccer team that crash-lands in the remote wilderness, only to spiral into cultish madness and survivalist violence. The show jumps between timelines, showing the brutal realities of their time in the woods and the psychological wreckage they still carry 25 years later.
In Season 3, the snow finally melted, but things only got darker. Paranoia fractured the group’s unity, while their adult selves struggled to keep their lives from collapsing under the weight of what they did — and what they still might be capable of.
🕯️ THE FINAL FEAST AWAITS
The ending is coming. The hunger never left.
Stream Seasons 1–3 now on Paramount+ with Showtime, and prepare for one last descent into madness when Season 4 drops in 2026.
Long live the Hive.
