Family isn’t just a word—it’s a life sentence without parole.

The delightfully dark world of Wednesday returns this year, as Netflix’s hit series debuts its second season in two parts: Part 1 premieres August 6, followed by Part 2 on September 3.

Jenna Ortega reprises her iconic role as Wednesday Addams, diving into a brand-new, chilling mystery at Nevermore Academy. Season 2 brings back familiar faces while introducing even more members of the creepy and kooky Addams clan.

The returning Addams Family lineup includes:

  • Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams

  • Victor Dorobantu as Thing

  • Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams

  • Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams

  • Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump

  • Joonas Suotamo as Lurch

  • Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester

Joining them are fan favorites from Nevermore:

  • Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair

  • Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin

  • Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay

  • Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger

  • Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus

New and returning characters also include:

  • Steve Buscemi as Principal Dort

  • Billie Piper as Isadora Capri

  • Christopher Lloyd as Professor Orloff

  • Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Sheriff Ritchie Santiago

  • Jamie McShane as Sheriff Donovan Galpin

  • Thandiwe Newton as Dr. Rachael Fairburn

  • Heather Matarazzo as Judi

Adding to the intrigue, Lady Gaga, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah B. Taylor, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, and Anthony Michael Hall are set to appear in undisclosed roles.

The series continues under the direction of creators and showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice), with executive producer Tim Burton returning to direct four of the eight new episodes. Directors Paco Cabezas (The Umbrella Academy) and Angela Robinson (Professor Marston & the Wonder Women) round out the creative team for the season.

Season 2 promises more mystery, more mayhem, and more of the macabre charm that made Wednesday a breakout hit.
