One injection is all it takes to become perfect—and in The Beauty, perfection comes at a horrifying cost. The new series from Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story) premieres Wednesday, January 21 on FX and Hulu.

The series debut will roll out with the first three episodes, airing on FX beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, while also streaming on Hulu at 9:00 p.m. ET and Disney+ internationally. The 11-episode first season will continue with new episodes every Wednesday, with two episodes dropping during each of the final two weeks.

FX has released the official teaser trailer for The Beauty, giving viewers a glimpse into Murphy’s glossy, nightmarish world.

The series stars Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, Ashton Kutcher, and Rebecca Hall, with an impressive lineup of guest appearances including Bella Hadid, Vincent D’Onofrio, Isabella Rossellini, Billy Eichner, Ben Platt, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Meghan Trainor, and more.

In the series, FBI Agents Cooper Madsen (Peters) and Jordan Bennett (Hall) are sent to Paris to investigate a disturbing mystery. Their search uncovers a sexually transmitted virus capable of transforming ordinary people into visions of flawless beauty—while hiding devastating, often lethal consequences.

Their investigation places them in direct conflict with “The Corporation” (Kutcher), a powerful tech billionaire who secretly created the miracle drug known as “The Beauty.” Determined to protect his trillion-dollar empire at any cost, he unleashes his deadly enforcer, “The Assassin” (Ramos), to silence anyone who gets too close.

As the epidemic spreads across Paris, Venice, Rome, and New York, a desperate outsider named Jeremy (Pope) becomes entangled in the chaos, searching for meaning as the agents race to stop a threat that could permanently reshape humanity. The Beauty poses a chilling question: what would you sacrifice for perfection?

Created and written by Ryan Murphy and Matthew Hodgson, the series is executive produced by Murphy, Hodgson, Peters, Ramos, Pope, and a large producing team including Michael Uppendahl and Jeremy Haun. The international thriller is based on the comic book series by Haun and Jason A. Hurley, with Haun also serving as a consultant.
