‘The Beauty’: First Look at Ryan Murphy’s Shocking FX & Hulu Thriller
High fashion has never looked so deadly. In Ryan Murphy’s new FX series The Beauty, international supermodels aren’t just walking the runway—they’re dying in increasingly gruesome and mysterious ways. The series premieres Wednesday, January 21 on FX and Hulu.
The premiere night drops the first three episodes on FX at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Hulu at 9 p.m. ET, and Disney+ internationally. After that, new episodes hit weekly on Wednesdays, with the final two weeks featuring double episodes to close the 11-episode first season.
The star-studded cast includes Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, Ashton Kutcher, and Rebecca Hall, with guest appearances from Bella Hadid, Ben Platt, Vincent D’Onofrio, and more.
The Horror Behind the Glamour
FBI agents Cooper Madsen (Peters) and Jordan Bennett (Hall) are dispatched to Paris to investigate a shocking phenomenon: a sexually transmitted virus that turns ordinary people into horrifying visions of perfection—beautiful, but deadly.
Their investigation leads them to The Corporation, a shadowy tech empire run by Ashton Kutcher’s ruthless billionaire, who has engineered the miracle drug known as The Beauty. To protect his trillion-dollar empire, he unleashes his lethal enforcer, The Assassin (Ramos), making the pursuit of perfection literally deadly.
Caught in the chaos, outsider Jeremy (Pope) searches for purpose as the agents chase the epidemic across Paris, Venice, Rome, and New York, racing to stop a threat that could reshape humanity itself.
Created and written by Ryan Murphy and Matthew Hodgson, The Beauty is based on the comic series by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley, with Haun serving as a consultant. Executive producers include Murphy, Hodgson, Peters, Ramos, Pope, and a team of industry heavyweights. Produced by 20th Television, this international thriller blends high-stakes global conspiracy with body-horror horror and psychological terror, asking one chilling question: What would you sacrifice for perfection?
